Before The Sun Came Up In Dallas
We met outside in the early morning, before the city was awake. The streets were empty, it was dark, and cold. However, Marc-Henri and Elellta kept each other warm in front of my camera. Downtown photo sessions can be very tricky. There is usually traffic, no where to park, and people everywhere popping up in the photos somehow.
One reason we met at 6:30 AM on a weekend morning was to avoid those things. The other reason was because having those hard flash photos were something this couple desired, and I too loved. The dark skies, the bright flash, really make your love pop. It brings a little extra romance to the photos and these two embraced all of the artistic ideas I wanted to try as well. Without fear or judgement, they danced, skipped, jumped, and spun around in circles for some of the most emotion filled images I’ve created.
