Wedding Day Film Photos
Film is a fun way to enhance any gallery of digital images. With film, you kind of never know 100% what you are going to get. I think that's why I like it so much. It's very "in-the-moment" and real. You can't check the picture right after taking it. It kind of forces people to be themselves and have that truth documented.
Think about when you have someone take your picture on an iPhone. You often take the picture, ask to see it, and if you're like me- you want a redo! You retake the picture to get it perfect, Film isn't that. It's not about being perfect.
The film grain, the colors, and the feelings the photos provoke are so nostalgic and timeless.
As you scroll through this post, you will see film images taken throughout the wedding day of Marc-Henri and Elellta. These were taken on a Minolta Maxxum 5000I with Kodak Portra 400 film. These are scans that were developed locally at Fort Worth Camera.
