Staying To The End

I’ve overheard photographers before telling clients, “You don’t want photos from the end of the night when everyone is drunk and crazy! Let’s do a fake exit and I’ll leave before the party is over.” I’m rolling my eyes through the keyboard, if that’s even possible. I get it- wedding days are LONG and exhausting, but if you’re a photographer and you’re leaving before it’s over you are missing out! Side note- I’m not encouraging photographers to work extra hours for free- we should most definitely be compensated for our time, but my suggestion is to schedule yourself to where you are able to be there until the REAL exit!
